You can drink coffee at The Roost. You can only drink coffee once per day. At first he will serve plain coffee, but the more times you order coffee, the more options Brewster will give you, such as adding milk and sugar or choosing the coffee beans.

To upgrade to the convenience store (T&T Mart), you must have a house rather than a tent. Upgrade from the tent by giving 10,000 bells to Tom Nook.
